Episode 1 of...1

Posting my trailer the other day reminded me of this oddity from a couple of years back. Intended to be episode 1 of an ongoing web-based series of skits, the whole thing rather collapsed when, having scratched that particular itch, I simply couldn't think of anything to follow it up with. Probably for the best as i'd be the first to admit that the results are...mixed. As an experimental piece though, it has merit and I'm fond of the look of it. The technique, with a little polish, is one that I'd be happy to use again. And it's clearly not so bad that I'd deny its very existence.

So without further ado, fresh from the wilderness of Youtube's finest backwaters, I'm proud to present 'Black Planet: Episode One'.

Of one.

Antipathy by Night

I'll level with you. I hate underhanded advertising, trying to sell you something through obfuscation and misdirection. Like, for instance, disguising a shameless advert for your latest book as a blog post. Honesty in these matters is far more refreshing and, I hope, implies at least a little respect towards the reader. So this post contains some advertising and an attempt to sell you something. Feel free to leave at this point.

Of course I wouldn't bother if I didn't feel it was something worth showing, something you'd be interested in. If you're still here then please allow me to present a little trailer for my latest comic collection 'Antipathy by Night - the Ecstasies of Sorrow and Dread'. I'm very proud of the book which represents six years work or thereabouts, and i'm rather pleased with the trailer which represents a couple of days of messing about with some video and music editing software. Enjoy.

'Antipathy by Night - the Ecstasies of Sorrow and Dread' is 62 pages long for only £1.00 when downloaded from here http://graphicly.com/cult-of-nyx/antipathy-by-night-the-ecstasies-of-sorrow-and-dread/gn
There's a print version available too, and when I've updated the website to accept orders for it I'll post the news here, as an edit. Because I don't want to post too many blogs like this. 'Cause I hate underhanded advertising.
